Name, Image and Likeness
As of 2021, it is permissible under NCAA rule for student-athletes to earn money from their own Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). Opportunities include promoting businesses and non-profit organizations, event appearances and other entrepreneurial endeavors. Badger fans have an opportunity to partner with and directly support student-athletes in a positive way.
The Varsity Collective is a trusted third party that develops NIL opportunities for Wisconsin student-athletes.
